Markleville, Indiana

Markleville is a small rural town located in Madison County, Indiana, approximately 25 miles northeast of Indianapolis. Its population in the year 2000 was 383 persons according to the U.S. Census Bureau. It was first platted in 1852 and incorporated in 1912. State Road 38 bisects Markleville and connects it to Noblesville, Pendleton, and New Castle, IN.
